Scottie Scheffler closed with a 4-under 66 to win the FedEx St. Jude Championship by eight shots, the largest margin in the tournament's 68-year history at TPC Southwind, according to ESPN. Scheffler finished at 17-under 263, with Si Woo Kim in second place at 9-under and Sam Burns and Alex Noren tied for third. At the European Athletics Championships in Brussels, Amy Hunt won her third gold medal Saturday in the women's 4x100m relay and will chase a historic fourth title Sunday in the mixed 4x100m relay. In the NFL, Marcus Mariota suffered a sprained MCL during Friday's preseason opener against the Miami Dolphins and will miss the remainder of the preseason, according to ESPN. The Commanders' backup quarterback left the game after just four plays on a noncontact injury.
